Parenting is like the stock market. You invest a lot with very little return sometimes. When you do hit, however, you hit big with greater returns that you'd hoped for.--Mamma

Thanks, Everyone!

In my haste to post the lovely gift of a Bible, I forgot to mention that my daughter's third grandparents also got her a gift of an adorable baby doll. So, it then occurred to me that, rather than risk forgetting to mention everyones gifts to our daughter, I'd just make a slide show that shows everyones gifts to date. So, that's what I did. I'm sure I'll still miss a few, as we will no doubt get more and more as the baby's arrival gets closer, but I'm trying at least.

In other news, I'm still busy burning video footage from the party and I find it's taking much longer than I'd like. In addition, I'm trying to clean off my office desk, also with no immediate luck. My head is spinning at the prospect of seeing the baby's picture(s) so soon and my ability to focus is waning. I was able to get laundry done yesterday, so at least we have clean underwear! Housework hasn't been as successful, but there's still hope. Yesterday and the day before I felt as if the flu was tyring to get me, but thankfully I'm feeling better today. Fever is gone and energy seems to be coming back.

It's back to the grind for this Mamma in Training. Until next time......
