Eating with Chopsticks

Since the time is growing (albeit slowly) closer to the arrival of our daughter, we've grown more diligent about learning to use chopsticks. Our adoption agency instructed us to learn to eat with chopsticks as some restaurants in China may not offer utencils. So, while recently in Las Vegas on business, we celebrated Chinese New Year (see slide slow posted on the site and in the slide show link) with dinner at Noodles restaurant. We both agree that this was no doubt our first authentic Chinese meal and it was DELICIOUS. More to the point, we ate the entire meal with our chopsticks. While I don't profess to be a professional yet, I'm getting there. And, for this left-handed-blonde, that's something!

As the photos will show, DH is much more adept than I am. He bought the chopsticks yesterday when he saw them at the grocery store. Future house guest be warned: you, too, may have to join us in our reveree!!!

Enjoy!

Lee does definatly look like he has the knack! I think I figured out Mom's problem though, it is definatly the shirt you are wearing! I hope the little one grows up to be an EAGLES fan. With you guys so far away you ruined my plans to make sure it would happen. Great job on the web site!!

Who'd have thought that I would have to protect my little one already! To think I would even consider her being supportive of the Eagles organization in any way....blasphemous, to say the least!!! Even thought two of our neighbors here in the South are Eagles fans, we remain loyal to our Steeler franchise. And, we have the Steeler cheerleader outfit already picked out. Heavens! Next you'll be wanting to wrap her in a Confederate Flag!!! I think I know who you are and time will tell if I'm right. Thanks for the laugh! It made my night.
