Parenting is like the stock market. You invest a lot with very little return sometimes. When you do hit, however, you hit big with greater returns that you'd hoped for.--Mamma

Our Surprise Trip Home

(EDITOR'S NOTE: I've posted this in blue as that is Mom's favorite color and there are butterflies in the new slide show as those are one of Mom's favorite's, too.) On April 6, Lee and I flew home to surprise his Mom with a secret party for her 70th birthday. Lee, me and his sister and brother-in-law Kelly and Marcus planned the party for over a month and everything went off without a hitch! Mom was surprised and thrilled and happy all in one. I think she is still basking in the glow of it all! To commemorate Gramma Nan's big day, I put together a slide show with the photographs collected from myself and Marcus. This isn't every picture, but it shows just what a wonderful time was had by everyone who attended. It was the first time Lee's entire family on his Mom's side was together in many years. It was just a terrific night and made for great memories for everyone who attended. A special "kudos" goes to Uncle Eddie who put together the most excellent slide show! We hope you enjoy the show!
