Well, the black cloud that has hovered over us since we moved to this horrid place, not to mention that which has plagued us throughout the adoption process has reared its ugly head once again. We just got word from our adoption agency that we won't be traveling this week or anytime in September. Even though most folks who got their referrals the same day as us are either in China now or will be by the end of the week, we were too late (it took us five weeks to get a TA) and now all the CA appointments have been taken.
Just when we thought we were on an upturn, we've been kicked down once again. I'd write more but it would be ugly and it won't heal the hurt, dry my tears or provide any comfort whatsoever.
Life is unfair and cruel and those in charge are meaner for letting us think that things will work out when in fact they don't.

So sorry to hear your news. It's hard to know they're growing up while we have paperwork delays. Take care.
That is not fair why didnt they reserve you a spot when your referral came in.
